KAYAK LAUNCHES & WATERFRONT ACCESS

A quieter way
to get away.

A few paddle strokes. A different perspective. Let’s make the connection from shore to kayak part of the enjoyment.

Launch, floating dock and dockside kayak storage

A THOUGHTFUL PLACE TO BEGIN

Less of a scramble.
More of a paddle.

A dedicated launch creates a defined place to position your kayak, prepare, and head onto the water.

HANDHOLDS WITH A PURPOSE

A little help along the way.

Wave Armor’s launch rails include ball-shaped hand grips to assist with entry and launching.

PART OF YOUR WATERFRONT

A connection that belongs.

Launch connections are available for Wave Armor docks, fixed docks, and other floating dock systems. We review the fit with your existing setup.

ROOM TO MAKE IT YOURS

Plan around your routine.

Discuss an additional rail set for travel-through access and rack options for keeping your kayak close by.

A REAL CONNECTION TO THE WATER

A place for
the next
paddle out.

At Mogadore Reservoir’s Route 43 access area, AquaLife supplied and installed a Wave Armor floating dock, hinged shore ramp, and Pro Kayak Launch for the Ohio Division of Wildlife.

Completed in August 2025, the project brings shore access and a dedicated launch into one waterfront layout.

PLAN FOR THE PEOPLE USING IT

The journey starts
before the dock.

A good launch begins with a clear route from shore.

From the path to the platform.

Consider the shore approach, ramp, water levels, and space to move.

From individual needs to a plan.

Who will paddle here, and what assistance will they need? Those answers guide the layout.

Have accessibility requirements? We’ll discuss the complete route and launch arrangement with your project team. A kayak launch by itself does not establish an accessible facility.

BEFORE YOU PLAN

A few useful
answers.

Start with the setting. We can work through the options together.

Will a launch connect to my existing dock?

Connection options depend on the launch model and whether your dock is fixed or floating. Photos of the intended attachment, water-level changes and approach space help us review the fit.

Will it work for the people using it?

Plan around the paddler, kayak and any assistance needed. Review the whole route from shore and the transfer into the kayak. A launch with handrails does not by itself establish an accessible facility.

Plan the complete launch arrangement
Is the initial consultation free?

Yes. The initial consultation or site visit is free and usually takes under an hour. Share your location and a few photos to help us prepare. We generally respond to inquiries within one business day.

What affects the estimate?

The layout, materials, existing structures, water conditions and route for equipment all affect the scope. Send your lake or city, shoreline photos and what you want to change so we can start with your actual property.

When should I start planning?

Start before your preferred installation season. Site assessment, material availability, approvals, weather and access can affect timing. Share your target date so the schedule can be discussed before you commit.
