A large floating dock and a small seawall abutment create a new connection between the grounds and the pond at this commercial event venue.
Explore the projectCOMMERCIAL WATERFRONT CONSTRUCTION
This waterfront was built around a place for people to come together.
AquaLife supplied and installed the Wave Armor dock system and built the small seawall abutment at the shore connection. The work brought a broad floating platform, its approach and the land-side connection into one project.
The shoreline scope included vinyl sheet piling, tiebacks, drainage and backfill. Follow-up dock details included Heritage post covers, solar lights and rope.
BEHIND THE BUILD
Before the platform could take shape on the pond, the dock sections had to be unloaded, staged and moved into position.
ON THE GROUND, AT THE WATER
A closer view follows the work from the machine to the crew at the shoreline, then onto the floating dock as the sections are joined.
01 / THE BUILD
Assembly on the water makes the scale of the project clear. Individual sections form the approach and expand into the main platform.

The drone view shows how the floating platform sits within the event grounds, with the pond surrounding it and the approach connecting it to shore.

THE FINISHING DETAILS
The approach carries guests from the shore to the main dock. Post covers and rope trace the platform perimeter, while the open deck wraps around the venue’s tent.

03 / THE VENUE IN USE
The story continues after installation, as the waterfront becomes part of the venue’s gatherings.
At the winery and food grand opening, guests gathered under the tent and along the dock, with activity spreading across the surrounding grounds.
The platform takes on another role for concert season. The band’s setup faces the lawn, bringing the pond into the backdrop of the performance.
AquaLife’s project scope covers the dock and seawall work described above. Tents, event production and other venue improvements are shown as context.
